I've read a lot of posts that say things like "Just get an Outback. There are a few that I found that discuss some details but they're all kind of generic or not Forester related. Towing and generally crawling around on dirt is going to be a lot better with an N/A 6 cylinder, so I'm planning on going down that path. Obviously people do it, but it's not ideal. Straight out of the car in Japan and into my smaller car here. Everyone wants to go with manual. Still making my way through a few threads. Burnt clutches and spinning wheels aren't my style.
