Adirondack Experience (formerly Adirondack Museum), located on NY-30 in the hamlet of Blue Mountain Lake in Hamilton County, New York, is a museum dedicated to preserving the history of the Adirondacks. The Adirondack Museum welcomes more than 50,000 annual visitors and more than 4 million to date. In late 2015, Adirondack History Museum sought funding from Cloudsplitter Foundation to help create a new permanent exhibit at the museum. “Essex County’s Immigrants: Names, Places, and Stories” is this year’s seasonal exhibit. The Museum features exhibits on local history, science, and patient care, as well as rotating special exhibits on local history topics.
